Land acknowledgement

I honor Tscha-kole-chy, its pre-colonial history, and the Indigenous People upon whose traditional lands my home now sits. I am located in the traditional territory of the Lower Skagit, Swinomish, Suqamish, and Snohomish tribes. Our island was named Whidbey by colonial settlers in 1792.

I am enlivened by bringing people together to create the conditions for transformational experiences and high performing teams to emerge. The culture of the people that serve these projects is the through-line that creates lasting impact.

After beginning her career in the conservation non-profit sector in South Asia, Alissa immersed herself in understanding the fundamentals of the conventional real estate industry. This journey involved personal real estate investing and co-founding a sales and property management company in Portland, OR. During this period, she actively contributed to the growth and management of systems and teams, handling diverse projects from single-family homes to small-scale multifamily developments.

Driven by a deep desires for more purpose and alignment with her spiritual ecology ethics within the real estate sector, Alissa has emerged as a leader in the regenerative real estate field. She assembles high performing teams to collaborate with clients on projects aimed at influencing cultural change, highlighting how real estate can be a catalyst for healing people and planet.

In her role as Latitude's COO, Alissa integrates regenerative systems thinking principles. She oversees internal team culture visioning, field building and business development, brand strategy and communication, as well as business administration and compliance. She also chaired the 2022 and 2023 Regenerative Real Estate Gathering.

Shaped by her Alaskan upbringing, global travels, and studies, Alissa exudes a love for people and nature. In 2021, her family relocated to Langley, WA, seeking deeper connections with nature, more time with elders, and involvement in impactful development projects such as Salish Sea Farms and Agrihood, Forest Farm (their biodynamic homestead), and other real estate investments grounded in the 5 Roots of Regenerative Real Estate.

Alissa holds degrees in International Studies and Japanese from the University of Oregon, a master’s in Intercultural Service, Leadership, and Management from the SIT Graduate Institute, Living Future Accreditation (LFA), and completed The Regenerative Practitioner Course by Regenesis Institute in 2022.
