Michael Mehaffy is an urbanist, architectural theorist, urban philosopher, researcher, educator, and executive director of Sustasis Foundation.

He is a prolific figure that is working to promote regenerative communities by looking at how planning and development work can connect suburbs and cities to work together.

In this episode Dr. Mehaffy discusses his influences from Christopher Alexander and Jane Jacobs, to his books that he’s written and the work that he has done both locally in Portland, Oregon and across the country.
