Green Healthy Places with Matt Morley

As more individuals and businesses express a growing interest in embracing sustainability and regeneration, we often hear the question, "How can we achieve this?" This inquiry has its roots in my personal journey, which began several years ago when I found myself at a crossroads in my real estate career. The practice of consistently asking this question has been transformative and served as the driving force behind the creation of The Regenerative Real Estate Podcast.

Hailing from the UK, Matt brings a broad perspective on the sustainability and healthy building movement in Europe, thanks to his own show, Green Healthy Places. While our continents may have subtle differences, both Matt and I have been developing our own unique approaches to support the overarching impact we aim for.

My conversation with Matt took the form of a joint interview, a novel format for both of us as we stepped into the roles of hosts and guests simultaneously. From our discussion, several key insights stand out. Firstly, there is a wide array of opportunities to create innovative business models that prioritize impact as a fundamental metric. Achieving this involves professionals aligning their life experiences with their values, a path that Matt has successfully trodden by drawing from his hospitality background and his commitment to health and wellness.

Secondly, Matt emphasized the potential for small-scale projects to drive change and influence the broader industry. He envisions a space where creativity, entrepreneurship, and purpose converge to pioneer endeavors that larger developers have yet to explore.

If you're eager to learn more about the sustainability aspects of the real estate and design industries in Europe, I encourage you to tune in to our episode. It's an opportunity for me to share my own experiences, and it provides an excellent platform for us to exchange ideas and compare and contrast the various approaches to the industry across continents.
