I call home in the Columbia River Slough and on traditional village sites of the Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Bands of Chinook, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Molalla, and many other tribes who made their homes along the Columbia River creating communities and summer encampments to harvest and use the plentiful abundance of the area.

Nathan is a developer, community builder and realtor who brings his passion for personal growth to the powerful process of building relationship with place.  

Nathan spent his childhood in the rolling hills just north of the San Francisco Bay where he split time exploring wild lands and working on job sites for the family construction company. These early experiences exposed Nathan to the magic of the natural environment, the intricate workings of the built, and the importance of protecting and maintaining both.

He spent formative years in New York City and Los Angeles as a working artist and designer before moving to Portland, Oregon where he founded and managed a screen printing business and two creative co-working spaces.  Operating these co-working spaces was a powerful shift for Nathan. His focus moved from the creation of individual objects to curating space for the benefit of a larger community. Around this time Nathan bought his first home and the following year his first investment property. These properties, both bought in neglected states of disrepair, provided Nathan with new opportunities to work with the transformation of place as a metaphor for the transformation of self.  

His work has led him to the restoration and development of a retreat property in the Mojave Desert and multiple homes in Portland. He serves as an advisor for a holistic care center and co-founded a company that designed financial models and systems for legal psychedelic therapy centers. Nathan is currently working with partners to develop a 12 acre property in Tillamook County that will serve as a retreat space and ecological restoration site. In each of these projects there is an inherent relationship between healing processes and the curating of physical space. As an artist Nathan understands that what we create physically is an expression of who we are internally and this is never truer than  in our homes and the places we inhabit. 

As an investor, entrepreneur and home owner, Nathan is firmly planted at the intersection of physical structures, land stewardship, community building and capital. Assisting clients in navigating these four realms and putting them into right relationship is at the core of his work and fills him with inspiration daily.
