An Inside Look into Latitude
The essence of regeneration is about thriving and enabling all species to have the ability to evolve. At Latitude, our mission is to help people and planet thrive. Our medium to do so is real estate.
As Wendell Berry said, “There is no such thing as unsacred places; there are only sacred places and desecrated places.” That, however, does not mean that we should turn our backs on the desecrated. In the wake of modernity, humans have scorched a path of destruction that permeates both our urban centers and our rural lands. In this process we have changed our culture, our climate, our habitats, and our communities.
While regenerative agriculture focuses on ecological restoration, our company focuses on regenerative real estate as a catalyst for transformation. Our work brings together health and wellness, sustainability, community, and ecology. We take very seriously our roles to help people literally transact the earth and our habitats.
We do this by working with property sellers that have unique and extraordinary properties like biodynamic farms, urban homesteads, intentional communities, and Living Buildings. We demystify real estate ownership and financing for buyers, and help them realize their visions by facilitating transactions and connecting them to our ecosystem of mission-driven vendors. These partners are professionals and companies that range from permaculture designers, architects, and contractors, to alternative energy consultants, developers, and financiers.
We are not Real estate agents, but rather Change Agents. We have a growing network of agents and affiliates that span North America, from our headquarters in the Pacific Northwest to New England; Canada to Mexico. We host a show called The Regenerative Real Estate Podcast, a Medium publication called Regenerative Real Estate, and a growing community of people around the world on Facebook.
